Just read about this possibility of having a
virtual human. I always thought this will be the ultimate goal of systems biology. However I have reservation on the actual use of the 'tool'. I sincerely hope it will be for the betterment of the human beings.

That was my dream too. But beyond me. I think there's so much more to be understood about metabolomics and many many other biological processes. The materialization of a "complete cell simulator" is years away. But a worthy cause. It was one of the inspirational topics that got me started in Bioinformatics. The closes I got was to modelling and predicting MHC-epitope interactions.
